Being a place to celebrate the positive accomplishments that mascots have played in professional sports, The National Mascot Hall of Fame will not only be about the mascots, but also families and children. The Hall of Fame contains interactive displays that profile the mascot lifestyle as well as teach children about the science involved in entertaining others. The 27,278 SF building contains a three-story glass atrium space that separates the building into different programming areas and serves as a vertical circulation and organizational device. Program areas on either side of the atrium are accessed by walkways or “bridges” that provide.
